The Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an Assistant or Associate Professor to be responsible for the management of critically ill patients and patients with pulmonary disease. Interest and skills in managing advanced critical illness are essential. Experience in managing general pulmonary diseases in the inpatient and outpatient settings is also necessary. The candidate should have experience in organization of critical care services and leadership interests. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are required. Academic interests will also be important, including clinical trials and outcomes studies in critical illness and education of fellow and resident trainees. Candidates will have inpatient and outpatient clinical duties and teaching responsibilitiesEducational Requirements
Applicants must hold an MD or DO and be BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine.Qualifications and Experience
