Position Title:Computer Science Tutor - Institutional Student Worker (Fall 2020) Campus Location:Gainesville General Summary:

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Computer Science Tutor for CSCI 1301 - Intro to Programming - and other computer science courses.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The student will:

  • Assist students in understanding the materials presented in CSCI 1301 courses at Gainesville campus
  • Maintain tutoring area and assist with keeping it clean and ready for other tutoring sessions
  • Answer questions students may have regarding Computer Science courses
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • JAVA, VB.net, C
Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
  • Successful completion of CSCI 1301 with at least a B or higher at UNG
  • Successful completion of CSCI 1302 at UNG
  • Successful completion of at least Calculus I at UNG
  • Prior experience is a plus but not required
