Job Summary:

The Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Physiology is a tenure track position. The position offers an exciting opportunity tojoin an integrated and innovative learner-centered academic program. Duties ofan Assistant or Associate Professor include research, teaching medical and graduate courses,and service/outreach. OSU-CHS encourages broad collaboration both within andbetween departments including with a rapidly growing OSU Biomedical ImagingCenter and the National Center for Wellness and Recovery. Start-up funding is available.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger,grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or withoutreasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

- physiology or related discipline
- Postdoctoral experience in therelevant discipline

- History of extramuralfunding or evidence of potential to obtain extramural funding

Areas of expertise/interest may include, but are not limited to, inflammation, neural basisof obesity, cardiovascular control, or addiction/pain. Teaching experience alsois preferred, and proficiency in instructional technology is highly desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills arepreferred to facilitate interactions with faculty, students, andadministration.
