Description:
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of laryngology and esophagology with a focus on voice, swallowing and airway disorders. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Must be fellowship trained in the field of laryngology and esophagology and board certified or board eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include medical student and resident education.
Clinical responsibilities may include the medical and surgical treatment of patients with laryngopharyngeal pathologies. Individuals are expected to demonstrate the potential for expanding the existing Penn Voice and Swallowing Center at Penn.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include a strong interest in developing a clinical and translational research program.
