Position Overview
Butler University Sports Medicine seeks a Part-Time Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes in its intercollegiate athletic programs. This is a part-time, 10 month position responsible to adhere to the university mission and ensure that policies and procedures are followed in the sports medicine center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specific coverage for several sports (TBD).
- Provide daily Butler University Sports Medicine Center coverage for all sports.
- Supervise undergraduate athletic training students.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required, Athletic Training related field, preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of full-time collegiate athletic training experience required
- Current NATABOC certification and licensed in the State of Indiana required
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
- Desired candidate will have outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with student athletes, coaches, administrators and staff
