Advertised Job Summary:The Administrative Assistant assists the Leadership team with tasks required to manage the CARES Act grant. This includes being the first point of contact for the public and handling requests/concerns, directing callers to the appropriate staff for assistance, and helping with organizing and promoting a variety of public programs. This individual works closely with the Project Manager and State Director to understand and comply with grant requirements, gather data and write and submit reports. Assists with completing and maintaining personnel records. Assists with compiling, organizing and reviewing financial information for grant monitoring and reporting. Handles other tasks as needed
Qualifications:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work well under pressure and manage concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions; analytical thinking skills; high degree of accuracy; takes initiative when appropriate. Microsoft Word or other software or database management systems required. knowledge of modern office procedures, practices, and equipment. The employee must use their discretion in organizing their work, compiling confidential information and reports. Responsible decision-making, confidentiality, careful discretion and unquestioned accountability is essential.
