Job Summary

As a member of the Division of Student Life's senior management team, plan and direct the activities and programs of the Office of Student Integrity in its mission to promote adherence to the Academic Honor Code/Student Code of Conduct and foster integrity and ethical conduct within the Georgia Tech Community. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni. This position will supervise: Student Integrity Office staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Oversee the review and routing of potential academic and non-academic cases.

Job Duty 2 -
Ensure Office operations are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations.

Job Duty 3 -
Serve as liaison with various campus organizations to maintain cross collaboration on Student code of Conduct policy.

Job Duty 4 -
Serve on the Academic Integrity Committee.

Job Duty 5 -
Adjudicate significant allegations per the Student Code of Conduct.

Job Duty 6 -
Plan and organize Office of Student Integrity staff activities, monitor performance and provide development opportunities.

Job Duty 7 -
Responsible for strategic planning, outcomes assessment and reporting, budgetary management, ensuring adherence to all Institute policies and procedures and the professional development as well as supervision of a staff of all key responsibilities of the Associate Dean.

Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Master's Degree in Student Development, Higher Education, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
The job requires one who is task and detail oriented; flexible, and able to perform multiple, various tasks concurrently. Excellent communications skills are required as well as the ability years troubleshoot and solve problems that are varied in nature.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
Leadership and supervisory experience in student conduct within a college or university setting are required. Additional requirements include: demonstrated knowledge of student development and student conduct processes, as well as applicable laws including FERPA, Clery, Title IX, VAWA, and Campus SaVE; well-developed advising skills; experience adjudicating policy violations; and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous legal experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience working effectively with students, faculty, student organizations, student affairs colleagues, public safety, and other campus constituents, as well as with alumni, parents, legal representatives, and external community members is essential for success. Strong conflict resolution and diplomacy skills; attention to detail; critical thinking ability; facility using current technology and social media; and evidence of working cooperatively and collaboratively with others in a diverse, complex environment.
