Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Postdoctoral researcher to help develop research on antibiotic resistant plasmid evolution. Particularly interested in the role of plasmids that carry antibiotic resistant genes. The ideal candidate would be a postdoc with experience in mathematical modelling and performing experiments in bacteria; goal would be to combine mathematical models with experimental research. This position is also responsible for some mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students, and preparation of grant applications.
Minimum Qualifications
A PhD in a relevant field such as microbiology, evolutionary biology, or theoretical biology.

This appointment is for one year.
