This is a part-time, non-benefited position. The positon does include 25% NWCCD tuition discount during the semester teaching.

Teach General Chemistry courses (CHEM 1000, CHEM 1020).

Adjuncts are hired on a semester-by-semester basis. This position may start in January, for the spring 2020 semester, or in August, for the Fall 2020 semester, depending on the need.

Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physics
or Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in Chemistry, Biochemistry,
Molecular Biology, Physics.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge, skills and ability to teach college courses in Chemistry.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Classroom setting.
