The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Adolescent Medicine.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and/or outpatient primary and specialty care in Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units at CHOP and a behavioral health hospital.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical research with a focus on adolescent health research in areas such as adolescent HIV prevention, and/or adolescent and young adult substance abuse with particular research expertise in opiate use disorder. Expectations will be to develop and lead a clinical research program in Adolescent Medicine and Young Adult Health funded by career development and/or independent research funding.

Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certified/eligible in Adolescent Medicine
