The Stites Laboratory studies the relationships between mutations, cancer (and other diseases), and the response to treatment. Projects typically involve a combination of experimental and computational biology, and most members of the lab are either traditional experimental biologists or purely computational scientists.
Position Description:
The Stites lab is looking for experimental postdoctoral researchers who work in cancer biology, cell biology, and or biochemistry. Multiple hypothesis-driven experimental projects for which a computational biology foundation is already present are available for motivated experimental postdocs to take over as their own project. This is an excellent opportunity for high-productivity on cancer biology projects that would make one very competitive for both academic and industry positions.
Education:
Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
Experience:
Experience with cancer cell signaling, cancer biology, and/or biochemistry, are highly desired. A demonstrated ability to, or clear potential to, work efficiently and productively while performing rigorous and reproducible research is essential.
Application Instructions:
Please send CV, names and contact information for 3 references, and a statement of research interests to:
