The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for multiple available positions as Assistant or Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Academic Clinician Track. Recruitment of multiple positions will be a joint effort by the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and the Wilmington Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Eligible candidates must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and be board-certified or at minimum board-eligible by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). Experience in broad scope oral and maxillofacial surgery is mandatory. Fellowship training in microvascular, craniofacial or cosmetic surgery is beneficial.

Applicants are required to have a DDS or DMD and be licensed to practice dentistry in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

For successful fulfillment of the duties of the position, which are in accordance with the Department's Mission Statement, the candidate must demonstrate excellence in clinical care, quality and safety, and education, including leadership roles in these domains.
