Full-time, nine-month, tenure track position to begin August 2021.

Teach courses within the Nutrition and Dietetics program with strengths in basic nutrition, lifecycle nutrition, nutrition science, pathophysiology, and clinical nutrition. Successful candidate will also mentor graduate research and advising. Successful applicant must also demonstrate commitment to high quality classroom and clinical instruction, campus and community services, and assisting with graduate research. Candidates will be expected to develop an independent and collaborative plan for engaging in research, and creative and scholarly activity.

Minimum Education Requirements

Master’s Degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field. ABDs with a documented plan of completion within agreed upon time frame would result in appointment as Instructor.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

Applicant must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration at the time that application is submitted or have reciprocity. Successful applicant must have attained state licensure (LD) via the Kentucky Board of Licensure by appointment date.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications

Previous college teaching experience preferred. Earned doctorate with at least one graduate degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field will result in appointment as Assistant Professor.
