Job Description:

The Strategy and Entrepreneurship department at York College of Pennsylvania is pleased to invite applications for an adjunct faculty pool in both Entrepreneurship and International Business to begin in February 2021. We seek candidates with an interest in teaching a variety of introductory and upper-level courses in Entrepreneurship and the introductory International Business Course. Classes may be held during the day, twilight hour, or evening.

York College is a teaching-focused institution, and we seek applicants with genuine interest in teaching and developing student scholarly activity. Adjuncts will be required to hold one office hour per week, demonstrate an appropriate degree of professional activity (particularly with regard to pedagogy), and are expected to attend all meetings relevant to the position.

Requirements:

Applicants should have earned a Master's in Entrepreneurship, International Business, or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institution (e.g., AACSB, ACBSP, EQUIS) by the start of the initial contract period. Preference will be given to candidates with five years of relevant industry experience, at least two years of teaching experience in a higher educational setting and any HyFlex delivery experience.

The Graham School of Business offers 23 undergraduate degrees including both Entrepreneurship and International Business and five graduate degrees. The Graham School of Business is the largest school on campus, representing more than 20 percent of the student population.
