The Biology Senior Tutor will tutor students in Biology courses, help students with the lab techniques and use of microscope, refer students to appropriate resources, assist students on computers, mentor new tutors, assist in outreach programs, assist in daily activities of the center, tutoring will include both online and some in person sessions, and complete other duties as requested by the supervisor.

- Must be familiar with laboratory techniques
- Good communication skills, including listening with understanding, and patience
- Ability in explaining concepts and solving word problems in Biology, both orally and in written form, in a one-to-one or small group setting
- Computer literacy
- Good work ethic
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field required with successful completion of college level Biology courses including Zoology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, and Anatomy & Physiology
- At least one year of tutoring/teaching experience
