The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel is hiring motivated, dependable, and team-orientated individuals for jobs that advance UGA’s mission of Public Service and Outreach. The Georgia Center, located on campus across from Stegeman Coliseum, is the campus hub for the development and administration of non-credit professional and continuing education courses as well as home of the only on-campus hotel.

Additional Schedule Information:

Two-night work week/16 hours a week. Shift is 11PM to 7 AM. Normal shift nights are Friday and Saturday, may be asked to fill in for full time night auditor as needed.

Respond to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies. Handle maintenance issues that may arise during your shift.

Complete all procedures related to guests, including: check in and check out; make and confirm reservations, provide guests with hotel information, answer telephone, post charges and payments to guests folios, greet guests in a welcoming manner.

Position Summary:

The part-time night auditor will perform an audit of the business day’s transactions. Audit duties include running all daily reports and checking for accuracy, auditing all payment types, completing all end-of-day reports, and rolling the date to the next business day. The night auditor will also check in and check out guests, make and confirm reservations, answer all telephone calls and respond to guest requests, serve as manager on duty, enter maintenance work orders, prepare daily shift report, and attend all required meetings and training sessions. As the manager on duty, the night auditor must learn the hotel’s fire, health, and safety regulations and be ready to implement these policies and procedures when needed.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

High school diploma or equivalent. Hotel experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Outstanding customer service skills. Professional communication skills. Computer skills. Detail oriented. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work alone.
