Part-Time Program Specialist - School of Teacher Education

The Program Specialist offers quality office reception and detailed Teacher Education Program (TEP) support. In addition to managing TEP-related tasks, the Program Specialist completes general clerical work for faculty and staff while providing welcoming support to students and guests.


The Program Specialist reports to the Dean of the School of Teacher Education


The individual in this position fulfills three primary job functions, each essential to the effective and efficient operations of the School of Teacher Education:

Teacher Education Program Duties: Complete specialized tasks related to TEP Gateways and educator program preparation requirementsReception and Communication: Offer a welcoming presence that encourages students to thrive and maintains cooperative relationships on campus and in the local communityGeneral Clerical Duties: Assist faculty, other staff, and students by performing routine office functions accurately and with attention to detail.

·College Degree Preferred


·Successful office experience preferred

·Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
