Advertised Job Summary:Must be able to teach skill technique, history, choreography, rhythms, terminology, etiquette, and the artistic and educational uses of traditional African Dance. It will be necessary for the instructor to take attendance, develop quizzes and test (both written and skill), create lesson plans, evaluate performance, assign grades and field student questions as needed.
Qualifications:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is necessary along with appropriate knowledge, experience, proficiency, participating and/or teaching African Dance. Must be certified by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association in CPR.
