The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a student worker in Athletic Game Day Operation/Events. The successful candidates will work under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director of Game Operations/Events and assist in management of all aspects of home events.Job Duties & Responsibilities:The student duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Facility set up and break downTicketingConcessionsEvent management staffingBreak down and post-event clean up
- Good communication and time management skills are assumed qualities of every successful candidate as is a willingness to perform required manual labor (lifting, carrying, long periods of standing and/or walking), and other duties as assigned.Candidates should be comfortable in front of large crowds, be willing to work with people, be a team player, and follow through with tasks assigned to them.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
- Must be able to work evenings, and/or weekends as needed. Flexible schedules are available. A desired interest to work in the sports industry is appreciated, but not necessary, however the successful candidate will be highly motivated to represent UNG Athletics in a positive manner.
