The School of Humanitiesinvites you to apply for our adjunct talent pool. Our adjuncts teach daytimeand/or evening course(s). MVCC classes are offered in traditional classroomsettings, online, and hybrid formats. Specific needs for instruction aredetermined at the beginning of each semester. You will be invited to apply asneeds are determined. You mustapply to specific positions to be considered for hire.

Composition—Master’s degree in related field &Bachelor’sdegree in discipline
Film Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Art Appreciation, ArtHistory, and Philosophy—Master’s degree in related field
History—Master’s degree in related field &Bachelor’sdegree in discipline
Journalism—Bachelor’s degree in related discipline &inexperience in discipline
Literature—Master’s degree in related field & Bachelor’sdegree in discipline
Speech—Master’s degree in related field &Bachelor’sdegree in English, Communications, or Theater
Technical Theater Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience
Theater—Master’s degree in related field
CF100 (College Foundations Seminar) Bachelor’s degree inrelated discipline
Critical Thinking/Reading—Master’s degree in related field
Educational Interpreting—Master’s degree in related field& Bachelor’s degree in discipline, certificate in discipline
ESL—Master’s degree in related field &Bachelor’s degreein discipline OR Master’s degree in discipline & Bachelor’s degree inrelated field
Foreign Language—Master’s degree in related field &Bachelor’s degree in discipline or equivalent experience (extended residence incountry, for example)
Sign Language—Certificate in discipline
