Organizational Unit Overview:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level; fixed term appointments are available. The search will remain open until qualified candidates are identified.

The mission of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology encompasses the triad of academic medicine: leadership in patient care, teaching of medical students and resident physicians, and pursuit of clinical and basic science research

Job Duties :

Seeking an experienced certified nurse-midwife (CNM) to provide antepartum, intrapartum, and gynecologic care in the outpatient and inpatient settings, participate in clinical education of medical students and Ob/Gyn residents, and cover Labor and Delivery during protected resident education time. Research opportunities are available if interested. This is a great opportunity for an experienced midwife to have full scope of practice within a 5 day per week schedule. Teaching experience is required.

Minimum Education/Experience :

Certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM)

MSN or related degree required.

All degrees must be from an appropriately accredited institution

License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation :

Certified Nurse Midwifery
