The person assigned to this position will serve as the chief coordinator ensuring PCC the Clery Act Compliance Specialist ensures the College’s compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and all associated regulations. The position will be responsible for developing and leading a CLERY compliance core team that meets regularly as well as developing and chairing a district Clery compliance committee that meets at least two to four times a year.

- Possess certification or be able to pass the Clery Compliance Certification Course with Delores Stafford & Associates within one year of employment.
- Advanced Clery Act Training, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Title IX.
- Experience working with an institution of Higher Education

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Emergency Management, Education, Administration, Paralegal Studies or related field (experience performing duties related to the job may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis).

Four years of progressively responsible experience working in a compliance program in Higher Education.

Position Grade5Starting Salary Expectations$51,674 to $55,353 (Step 3); based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.Position Grade Salary Range$51674 to $89601 Annual SalaryFTE1PCC BenefitsPCC offers a comprehensive benefit package designed to provide employees and their families, including domestic partners, with access to a broad range of benefit options. PCC currently fully funds the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS/OPSRP) pension and contributes an additional 6% into the employee's Individual Account Program under PERS/OPSRP. PCC offers a tax deferred annuity program and a deferred compensation program where employees may save additional pre-tax dollars for retirement.

Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age, as well as partial tuition reimbursement for full-time employees at other accredited institutions.

*Please note: Temporary Academic Professional employees are not eligible for Personal Leave Days, Life Insurance, Long-term Disability, or AD&D Insurance.

Paid Leave: (Pro-rated by FTE for Part-Time Employees)
- Starts at 13.33 hours of vacation leave per month (additional vacation hours with years of services)
- 1 day of sick leave per month
- 11 holidays
- 3 additional personal leave days per year

Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsWork is generally performed in an office environment with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. Frequent reaching, walking, standing, lifting, stooping, or carrying equipment and materials may be required.
