Under general supervision, performs foot patrols of on-campus residence halls operated by University Housing. Observes, addresses, investigates and reports incidents and suspicious activities. Interacts with co-workers, students and the general public in a professional manner. Performs related duties as assigned.

Watches for and reports all life safety issues such as a suspicious person, fire hazard, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.

Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure.

Patrols on foot, periodically, during each shift checking buildings and grounds in and around on-campus residence halls.

Maintain and submit accurate, detailed and professional paperwork and reports on a daily basis.

Attend training during off-shift hours.
