The Department of OB/GYN and Division of GynecologicOncology at the University of Colorado is recruiting for a faculty position atthe rank of Assistant Professor or above. The Gynecologic Oncology division atthe University of Colorado is the largest group in the Rocky Mountain regionwith board certified gynecologic oncologists and minimally invasive surgeons.We are a nationally known and respected group with a diverse and broadexpertise. Our group sees over 1000 new patients per year with unsurpassedsurgical expertise and an impressive clinical trials portfolio. As part of theonly NCCN/NCI Comprehensive Cancer center in the region, we offer outstandingresearch opportunities both in the basic science and clinical arena.  Wealso offer the only fellowship training program in the region and are slated toexpand the fellowship to include 4-5 total fellows.

Our practice is largely centered on the Anschutz MedicalCampus, at the University of Colorado Hospital but we offer services in thegrowing Denver metropolitan area and the Rocky Mountain Region. This positionwould be focused on providing services to the greater Denver area and the Coloradoregion with some responsibilities on the Anschutz Medical Campus.Responsibilities include surgical/medical management of gynecologicmalignancies, teaching of medical students/residents/fellows and outpatientcare of women with cancer.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must be board certified in bothObstetrics/Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology through the AmericanBoard of OB/GYN (ABOG) and must be able to obtain licensure in Colorado.


Preferred Qualifications:

5 or more years of experience in Gynecologic Oncology

Successful applicants should be able to developstrong relationships with community physicians in the greater Colorado region
