Loyola University Chicago is seeking a Professor of Philosophy to teach seminars for graduate students in Ph.D. Program; advise doctoral dissertations; serve as dissertation supervisor in areas of continental philosophy and social-political philosophy/ethics; teach a graduate class each semester; maintain an active research profile by publishing regularly in peer-reviewed journal articles and monographs.

Qualifications

PhD in Philosophy plus 12 years related experience. Prior experience must include: publish regularly peer-reviewed journal articles and monographs in areas of continental philosophy, feminist philosophy, and social-political philosophy (12 years); serve as dissertation supervisor in areas of continental philosophy, feminist philosophy, and social-political philosophy (12 years); teach seminars for graduate students in Ph.D. Program on continental philosophy, feminist philosophy, and social-political philosophy (10 years); hold academic expert positions by refereeing and external assessment of international grant applications, journal articles, book manuscripts, and PhD theses (12 years); have emerging expertise in environmental philosophy demonstrated in teaching, publications, and conference presentations (8 years).
