Marketing/Strategic Relations Program Director

DescriptionThis is a part-time position working 20 hours per week. 
The National Institute for Human Resilience is seeking a director of marketing and strategic relations. This part-time position will provide leadership related to marketing and strategic community relations for the institute, to include developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing/communications strategy with a goal to increase usage of NIHR programs and services. This position requires an experienced marketing and communications professional with extensive industry experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing, advertising and public relations.

Job Duties:
  • Provideleadership related to the marketing and strategic relationships for theinstitute.
  • Developa marketing and communications plan for enhancing visibility for the NIHR locally,statewide, and nationally including branding and image development. 
  • Createa multi-channel marketing and communications plan for the institute andspecifically for the clinical operations in the institute.
  • Developdigital strategies and manage digital projects, the institutes website andsocial media.
  • Workto develop community partnerships that enhance the capabilities of the NIHR tohave a national impact.
  • Manageeditorial design and production of content marketing assets, including digitalprojects, advertisements, print collateral, photos, graphics and videos.Job Competencies: 

    Strongmarketing background including market strategy, marketing communications, designingmarketing collateral, channel management (print, digital) and building nationalbrand and imageKnowledgein health care marketing a plusAbility andexperience working in a multidisciplinary work environment

    This position has beendetermined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair LaborStandards Act (FLSA).

    Salary Range:  $26,618.50 – $35,491.50 at .50 FTE

    • Six plus (6+) years’experience developing brand awareness and marketing communications in ahealthcare environment
    • Six plus (6+) years’experience identifying, developing and managing relationships with externalstrategic partners
    • Master’s degree in a related field
