Description
The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management supports the execution of strategic initiatives and application management to increase student enrollment in the College of Education. The Assistant Director utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other integrated systems to ensure the efficiency of all aspects of admissions operations, including communications, application completion, faculty admission decision-making and related processes. The Assistant Director audits data to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of all processes related to graduate admissions operations and communications. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of directly related experience in a college or university setting, preferably in undergraduate or graduate admissions. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
Required Skills & Abilities:*Strong organizational and leadership skills; as well as the ability to take initiative and work independently.
*Strong relationship management skills and ability to conduct targeted communications with prospective students from inquiry through enrollment.
*Ability to lead individual and group informational sessions.
*Ability to directly interact with students, faculty and administrators demanding intensive concentration and excellent listening skills.
*Must demonstrate high-level of attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
*Must prioritize well and focus on completion of tasks and objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
*Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
*Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and objective customer service approach and attitude even when confronted with difficult, highly emotional students/parents as well as advising and counseling situations.
*Must be able to travel both locally and nationally and transport student recruitment materials to locations that may not be accessible by public transportation.

Preferred:*Master’s degree
