Duties:

Teach the fundamentals of pediatric sleep technology, including performance of pediatric sleep studies, staging and scoring of pediatric polysomnograms, and sleep disorders in the pediatric population. Normal sleep from the stages of newborn to young adult population is studied. Communication with patients and caregivers is emphasized.

Education/Experience:

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential. Associate in sleep technology, respiratory therapy or the equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred. Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) preferred. Two years of pediatric sleep experience preferred.
