Position Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time Radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the Tenure Track.

Principal Duties:

Perform clinical duties in the Abdominal Imaging Section. Clinical duties include ultrasound, remote 3D ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT, and computed tomography (CT) image guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC), and gastrointestinal/genitourinary (GI/GU) imaging areas. Serve as a member of the tenured or tenure track faculty of the Department of Radiology. Develop or continue an active, funded research program. Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and other professionals. Participate in departmental outreach as appropriate. Participate in departmental, school, university and professional service appropriate to the faculty rank. A leadership role will be expected of candidates at senior ranks.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD Degree, Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Fellowship training in abdominal imaging or equivalent experience.

Appointment at the Associate or full Professor will require that candidate meets criteria for tenure and rank at the UW-Madison and UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin Medical License eligible
