Responsibilities

The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (SNSM) invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science. Specific responsibilities include daily instruction of courses in the  Computer Science /Computer Engineering program curricula as assigned each semester in accordance with the course syllabi, administration of exams, monitoring of student attendance, submission of final grades and other duties associated with course instruction.   In addition to instructional responsibilities, this position requires ongoing compliance with the criteria for faculty performance in research and grantsmanship, faculty development, service to the University and community, committee participation and other duties as assigned.  The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science/Computer engineering with a vision to enhance its program. The successful candidate will be an educator who approaches both teaching and research with enthusiasm, is motivated to work with students and strives to develop students as scholars, is prepared to work with the Chair and colleagues in the SNSM, and is motivated to work with students.

Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. Candidates must have superior academic experience, an established record of teaching, research, grantsmanship, and service.
