Adjunct Faculty Member – BA Completion Program

The BA Online Department is seeking highly qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions to join our current dynamic faculty who are utilizing the engaged practitioner model to facilitate our undergraduate courses. We offer a wide range of undergraduate courses that prepare our undergraduate students for sought-after careers in psychology as well as for a seamless transition into our graduate program upon completion of their Bachelor’s degree. We are currently seeking a Science/Biology Instructor for the Online Campus in the BA program.

Education and Experience:

·Master’s degree in Science/Biology with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.

·Online Teaching Experience

·Experience teaching Biology with a lab

Preferred Qualifications

·An earned doctorate in the discipline (or closely related field) with a minimum of 18 graduate hours.

·Previous online teaching experience at the collegiate level.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.

·Ability to maintain confidentiality.

·Understanding of education environments including the needs of adult learners

·Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment

·Knowledge and understanding of professional career paths for which students are enrolled

·Motivation, dedication and enthusiasm for teaching

·Good Organization and Communication Skills
