Job Description/Duties:

Provide tours to prospective students and their families. Talk about your experiences at SUNY Cortland. Participate in online chats.

Days/Hours Needed:

We are planning on hosting summer visits Monday-Friday. Hours would be 10:00-3:00 daily. (The office will not host tours July 2 & 3)

This position would begin following Memorial Day. If campus is not open to the public at this time – the position will be remote.

Campus Location/Bldg.:

Miller Building, Admissions Office

Required Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent public speaker
- Love for SUNY Cortland
- Ability to relate well to others

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience volunteering with the admissions office
- Experience working with diverse populations

Physical Demands:

- Ability to walk around campus for at least two hours
- Ability to project voice to large crowds

Special Conditions for Eligibility:

Students need to be local to SUNY Cortland and able to come to the office Monday-Friday.
