The Hourly Range: $58.21 – $93.06
Doctorate Range: $68.60 to 95.51
Personnel new to the District are limited to a maximum 10th step placement based on previous experience: $90.37.Benefits:
With the exception of Workers’ Compensation benefits; this classification is not eligible for District paid benefits.Scope of Assignment:
Lecture courses in a traditional classroom setting teaching German courses.Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Italian
Bachelor’s degree in Italian AND Master’s degree in another language or linguistics
Experience teaching adult learners. Current knowledge of issues in language teaching, such as second language acquisition. Experience in computer-assisted instruction. Ability to develop curriculum or services that stress innovation and multicultural emphasis. Enthusiasm for the learning process. Commitment to supportive relationships with students and colleagues. Willingness to experiment with teaching methods to accommodate various student learning styles.Desirable Professional Characteristics:
