Job Responsibilities
In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Trident Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach at the Berkeley, Palmer, Main, and Mt. Pleasant campuses. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsThese positions require a high school diploma AND five (5) years of current industry experience that includes both conventional and CNC equipment set-up and operations.
Preferred QualificationsA bachelor's degree in machine tool or industrial technology or a closely related field OR an associate degree in machine tool technology, industrial technology or a closely related field is preferred. Working knowledge and experience in the concepts and theories of conventional and CNC machining, set-up and operations, CAD/CAM programming, materials and processes, blueprint reading, and tool design are essential. Excellent organizational skills are also essential to manage course and student records and documentation. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
