This position is based in Washington, DC. This is a part time, hourly, non-benefited position with a work week of 10 hours.  It is a temporary position beginning ASAP to June 30, 2020. 

Administrative assistance to the Hamilton faculty member serving as Resident Director of the Washington, DC Program.

Assist the Washington, DC Program’s Resident Director, other College administrators, and especially Auxiliary Services, with various tasks, including:

  1. Student support (including local guidance and emergency contact role)
  2. Scheduling and monitoring apartment maintenance
  3. Assistance with transitions of new students & Resident Directors
  4. Assistance with event scheduling and student internship supervision


Bachelors degree; experience with university administration preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated knowledge of university setting
