The Slone Epidemiology Center, a multidisciplinary research organization, is seeking an individual to assist with multiple tasks involved in data collection and data management of a large ongoing epidemiologic study, the Black Women's Health Study, a prospective cohort study of 59,000 Black women from around the U.S. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, assisting the data manager in the evaluation of SAS analytic programs to document coding used for analyses and development of a data codebook, assisting investigators with literature reviews and preparation of scientific presentations, and assisting with questionnaire-based data collection and ascertainment of cancer cases.
Bachelor's degree required, MPH or equivalent degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a research environment. Candidate should have a basic knowledge of SAS, have experience working with Windows Office applications, and have good oral and written communication skills.
