Applicant must be a current Morton College student carrying 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer.
Good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, tolerance and truth.

Preferred Qualifications

•Bi-lingual: English and Spanish.
•Customer service experience and communication skills
•Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
•Familiar with Social Media
•Dependability and positive attitude.

Job Summary

The Student Aide – Student Activities Office will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Student Activities Office (SAO). The duties will include general office work, answering phone calls, filing, data-entry, assisting students, student leaders from clubs and organizations, faculty & staff and other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Duties

•Assist with day-to-day operations of the SAO
•Assist with general office support
•Greet students and guests
•Provide information on clubs and organizations
•Enter data in excel spreadsheets, and keep files organized
•Issue Student Identification cards to students
•Develop flyers to promote events/activities
•Help promote activities and events throughout the semester
•Perform other duties as assigned
