The Jones Graduate School has premier research faculty in the area of business and offers Ph.D., MBA, MAcc, and undergraduate level coursework. Under the supervision of faculty, the research analyst will assist faculty members in the design, plan, and implementation of research projects. S/he is responsible for identifying, locating, and obtaining appropriate data/information from commercial sources (Compustat, CRSP, Datastream, SDC) or source specified by faculty. The research analyst manipulates and cleans up data/information, analyzes data/information and report findings is agreed upon format, conducts literature searches, and works on coding projects.

The ideal research analyst candidate will have STATA experience, the ability to stay focused and meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.

- Ability to merge data from various sources

Internal Contacts: The incumbent has daily contact with faculty and staff.

External Contacts: The incumbent has have contact with outside experts/vendors in order to obtain information/data for research.

Ability to sit in front of a computer for up to eight hours a day
