Job Summary:The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: delivering, picking up and distributing mail, making campus runs, photocopying, and filing, computer work, typing; acting as receptionist, answering the telephone and assisting students with various questions. Must be people oriented and able to multi-task. Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned. This position can be either on or off campus. Can work up to 19 hours per week. Pay: $9.00 an hour
Required Education :High School Diploma or GED
Required Skills & Abilities:•Assist in maintaining the NCTC greenhouse, the landscape around the horticulture facilities, and the horticulture lab.
•Greenhouse: maintenance of plants (watering, fertilizing, spraying for insects, growing new plants) and keeping the spaces clean.
•Landscape and Grounds: watering plants, mulching the landscape, planting plants, and weeding.
•Horticulture Instructional Lab Spaces: keeping storage places clean and orderly and washing floral design buckets.
•Primary work site is Gainesville but on occasion might be asked to help in Corinth, if able
•On occasion, assist instructors with labs and classes.
Must be people oriented and able to multitask. Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
