Job Summary:Students may be employed to perform civic education and participation activities in projects that teach civics in schools, raise awareness of government functions or resources, and increase civic participation. To the extent practicable, a school must give priority to the employment of students in projects that educate or train the public about evacuation, emergency response, and injury prevention strategies relating to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other emergency situations. The primary goal is to ensure that the students receive appropriate training to carry out the educational services required. This position can be either on or off campus. Can work up to 19 hours per week. Pay: $9.00 an hour
Required Education :High School Diploma or GED
Required Skills & Abilities:•Help with advertising
•Host and assist with student life events
•Office tasks as assigned by their supervisor
•Serve as a resource for students and student organizations regarding Student Life procedures/policies. Help conduct tours of the campus
Must be people oriented and able to multitask. Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
