About Westchester Community College:
Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. The Education Department seeks adjuncts in Early Childhood and Childhood Special Education. Adjuncts must actively participate in all departmental, school, and classroom requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Master's degree in Education with Special Education certification and one year of practical experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of practical experience is strongly preferred. Some college level teaching experience also preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE: Day and evening adjuncts needed.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $80.95 per hour. No benefits.
