- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- board certification, and/or licensure, or an academic (PhD, EdD) or clinical doctorate (PharmD, DHSc., DMSc., DNP, DPT, DDS, MD, DO).
- Two years practice and teaching experience in fields relevant to teaching assignment.

The University of La Verne is a 124 year old, independent, comprehensive, doctoral granting institution in southern California with an emphasis on research and publication.
