Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Allergy/Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Allergy and Immunology. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board Certified/eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
Teaching responsibilities may include significant teaching of fellows and residents.
Clinical responsibilities may include direct inpatient and outpatient care.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include writing grant applications, scientific manuscripts, and other scholarly contributions. The selected candidate will be expected to secure extramural grant funding. Responsibilities also require expertise in molecular methods and a demonstrated interest in mucosal immunology. Interfacing with clinical programs in Eosinophilic Esophagitis is anticipated.
