Job Details
NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician in the Information Technology Department. The selected candidate will provide ongoing technical support to permanent information technology and media installations, perform skilled maintenance and extensive equipment repair, troubleshoot equipment problems in the field, operate a variety of specialized equipment, and consult with client employees on IT/media requirements and capabilities. S/he will also assist with training of student and/or casual employees and assist with training of junior technical support staff.
QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree and experience providing customer support in an information technology or audio/visual environment are preferred. A minimum of a high school diploma and 2 years of related experience are required. Experience providing support in a lab or department within a university setting, and knowledge of PC based multi-media applications for video/audio development are preferred.
