The Director for Diversity, Equity and Engagement provides leadership and support in the Student Affairs Office's efforts to foster a dynamic community through a diverse, inclusive, and invested student body. The Director works with University and School of Law faculty and staff to create programming, resources, and strategic initiatives that facilitate the success of our underrepresented student populations, including but not limited to students of color, LGBTQIA+ students, first-generation students, veterans, and international students (J.D. track only). The position develops, implements and assesses programs that addresses diversity topics affecting the law community and participates in the recruitment of students. The Director serves as a primary responder to student concerns and provides student counseling. The Director also collaborates with the Student Affairs team in the implementation of traditional community building events.Required Skills
J.D. or Masters degree in Higher Education or related field strongly preferred. 5-8 years experience in a diversity initiatives-focused role required.
