Minimum Qualifications:

Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary:

This position is the primary outreach and educational services liaison for the Department of Poultry Science with audiences including youth, the general public, and the commercial poultry sectors. The role provides administrative support for Extension faculty’s programs including conferences, workshops, and events.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

Excellent time management skills, good oral and written communication skills, and proficiency with standard computer programs.

Bend and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Administrative support including fiscal oversight for the coordination of departmentally led Extension conferences, workshops, and events (both on and off campus) for the Department of Poultry Science. Will include being a liaison with external clientele and speakers for logistical needs as well as oversite and coordination of educational program operations during events.
