Successful completion of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Community Practice Fellowship will enable the fellow to become a faculty member who will be able to lead a successful practice-based research program. The fellowship focuses on the trifold mission of pharmacy faculty – teaching, service, and scholarship. As such, the program will provide the fellow with a solid foundation to begin a productive career in academic pharmacy.Educational Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, the candidate must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency, a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with an emphasis in ambulatory care, or have equivalent practice experience. The candidate should also be eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina.Qualifications and Experience:
The preferred Postdoctoral Research Associate should 1) demonstrate an interest in community pharmacy and academic practice; 2) have an understanding of emerging trends in community pharmacy practice; 3) demonstrate project management experience; 4) demonstrate experience leading or engaging in complex collaborative efforts to achieve desired outcomes; 5) think critically and challenge the status quo to arrive at solutions with the greatest potential for impact; 6) effectively communicate and collaborate with others; 7) complete work to the highest academic standards; and 8) are able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities and activities.Equal Opportunity Employer:
