The Senior Associate Director, Marketing and Communications is a senior-level position in the College of Liberal Arts. This position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and assist in strategy, planning, developing, and implementing effective undergraduate, transfer and graduate marketing campaigns for the College to increase student enrollment and retention.  This person will also be responsible for academic program promotion, current student communications, and various public relations and media requests.
The Senior Associate Director will develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns — via email, social media, and digital and print advertising — that effectively communicate the value of a liberal arts education at Temple. 
The Senior Associate Director serves as a liaison and point of contact for faculty, staff, and strategic partners across the university community. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of direct experience in marketing and communications, preferably in higher education or a client roster that contains higher education partners. Understanding of enrollment, recruitment and retention required. Experience in integrated, strategic marketing communications. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
Required Skills & Abilities:*Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of constituents. *Demonstrated computer skills/proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, MailChimp or similar CRM platform, social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).*Strong organizational skills along with the ability to independently anticipate and identify problems, obstacles and opportunities and take decisive action to address them.*Demonstrated project management and time management skills, including ability to accurately project task duration, manage expectations, deliver on deadlines, and handle conflicting priorities.*Proven ability to creatively and respectfully provide and respond to feedback in interactions with campus partners, project team members, departmental leadership, and others.*Demonstrated people management skills with direct reports*Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, exhibit self-direction and motivation, prioritize tasks, work independently and in groups. *Up-to-date with the latest digital marketing techniques and strategies, including SEM, display and paid social media advertising.
