SummaryWith general oversight, The Contract Manager administers and coordinates assigned activities involved in negotiating, accepting, monitoring and executing contracts and sub-contracts between Tulane and its vendors. This position handles the administration and negotiation of contracts between Tulane and third parties for all of Tulaneâs various business units. This position works closely with the leadership of the Tulaneâs business units, procurement and general counsel. In this capacity, the Contract Manager will seek to provide clear and concise guidance to managers and internal client groups regarding contract clauses that may affect their business areas.
Required Qualifications- MBA and/or JD. Will consider a person with a bachelorâs degree in finance, business administration or related field with significant experience in contract administration and/or negotiation.
- At least 2 years of contract administration and/or negotiation experience.
- Knowledge of Total Contract Manager or other contract management software such as Arriba, Meditract, etc.
- Knowledge of specialized contract terms in a category such as IT, Facilities, Human Resources, etc.
- Candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Products.
