Early College Career Academy:
CIS 128 ECCA: Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and Industry Experience with Linux. OR Associate degree in IT or related field with 3 years LINUX industry experience.
Early College Career Academy instructors will be teaching high school students. All ECCA instructors must be able to work Monday-Friday 7:30-9:30am and meet all of the requirements and pass a criminal background check with fingerprinting.
Other Regular Courses:
CSC 130: Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; or an associate degree in Networking or related field and relevant CISCO industry certifications.
CSC 133: Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and Industry Management experience with current Microsoft Workstation & Server Environments; or an associate degree in IT Administration or related field with 3 years Microsoft Management experience.
CIS 122: Requires a bachelor's degree in CS or related field and minimum of 2 years of experience teaching CSC courses or BS degree in CS or related field with min of 2 years programming experience.

Essential Job Functions:Performs professional duties in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the college. Provides classroom instruction in accordance with the stated philosophy, objectives, and established course outlines of the college. Informs students of course regulations, evaluation procedures, and other information pertinent to the course; prepares a course syllabus for each course and distributes it early in each term. Is available for student advising/mentoring. Maintains regular office hours to ensure availability for student consultation; provides assistance to students in a timely manner. Maintains accurate scholastic records of students; submits required reports on student progress according to published deadlines. Performs other duties as assigned by the department chair.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and Industry Management experience with current Microsoft Workstation and Server Environments; or Associate’s degree in IT Administration or a related field with three years of Microsoft Management experience. If hired, certified official transcript is required.Ability to learn the Parkland information system and new programs as technology changes. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check with fingerprinting.
